Find your balance!

One of my wildest dreams is to surf As a lil' girl, my most treasured memories are by the sea, and now I can't get enough of "her". I love art, and mostly films! I'm a working mother of two kids, and I'm happily married to my soulmate. I've worked for organizations such as the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, and the Canadian Embassy in Mexico. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. But, my true calling & passion is to ensure the well-being of women holistically, nurturing their minds, bodies, and souls.

My love for the ocean started at a very young age. Marine wildlife never ceases to amaze me. As a Captain, I have the privilege of sharing the wonders of the ocean and the freedom that comes with being out on the water with others.

I traveled to Tulum for the first time in 2012 and started kiteboarding. I fell in love with Tulum, with the lifestyle and people here, and of course with the sport. It was not easy for me to learn, but I made it and kiteboarding became one of my biggest passions. For my improvement, I got in 2015 my IKO assistant instructor license. And more by coincidence I started one year later teaching. I love being an instructor, as it's quite exciting to watch how students progress with the right tips. It always feels great to bring someone on the board and see them riding the first few meters!

I was born and grew up in France until I was 26 years old. Then, I realized I needed to leave everything behind in France and took off with a backpack. As a woman, I was afraid, but something in my heart pushed me to do it. So, I listened to it. Today, after almost 3 years of traveling, I have settled in Tulum, Mexico, where I married a beautiful Mayan soul. When it's someone's first time surfing, I like to say, "Surfing is not just about "the take off' on the board. It's about connecting with yourself (your mind + your body) and the environment (the sea, the wind, the sky, the sun)."

I’m Ash, a surfer, mama, emergency room doctor and integrative healer. My love for surfing began while studying abroad in Costa Rica in 2005. Ever since I’ve been intentional about living near and visiting the ocean as much as possible. Some of my longest friends and best memories have been built while sharing waves in beautiful places around the world. I am so grateful that there is such an amazing community of women here in Tulum, building each other up and exploring all that Mama Ocean can teach us!
